This list represents the races native to Krynn. At times, these races will differ from that which is found in the Player’s Handbook. In that case, a player may choose to play that race as found in the book, or the variant of that race found here. It’s generally easier to play a race from Krynn as people will be more open to accepting you, but any race from any DnD 5th edition material can be used. Explanations for non Krynn races are up to the player but they must incorporate some form of divine, magical or fantastic means that caused them to be on a new planet such as a dimensional gate, a portal or even space travel.
